Re: SC on Local Lan
Is this on a domain environment or a workgroup? When the ultravncsc.exe is launched on the host machine, it normally searches for the repeater specified in the helpdesk.txt. Since the host machine is making an outgoing connection, it will automatically open the required port. When you launch your ...

Re: Future of SC
I agree, I would like to see SC go further and even surpass PChelpware. I like it because it's based on UltraVNC, my favorite flavor!

Re: Create ID with repeater... How to assign the server an I
Well, while I am struggling to get the above problem fixed, I thought I would share another script that I have written that remotely installs the vnc server as a service (in case you get disconnected, just run the viewer again) and when you are done, all you have to do is close the connection to the ...

Re: Copy of Fastpush
I have a copy set to push uvnc 1.0.2 Works best in a domain environment with domain admin privileges or equivalent. It's a vb script that calls on a few other files. If you know a little bit about vb scripts and batch files, then you will be able to modify it to your liking. If you don't know how ...

Re: Need EXE to run at start and EXE to run at end
I am not the developer, but this is definitely possible. It could be incorporated into the original source, or you could have an INETD-like TCP wrapper run your EXEs upon TCP connection / disconnection. You would have to decide what to do with multiple simultaneous connections, though. I think it ...

Re: Error: Your connection has been rejected
Ok, I have un-installed and re-installed vnc on my main machine at home, and now i'm here at work, and it works! It's really really slow, but it works (works, as in, making a successful connection). I was not able to use my computer remotely because I have a high resolution desktop with a high res ...

Error: Your connection has been rejected
Hello everyone! OK, here it is. I am trying to connect to my home computer from work (I am in the IT Dept) and I make a successful connection because I get the password dialog box. Now, when I type in my password through the normal "Start->All Progs->UltraVNC->UltraVNC Viewer", it just disappears ...
