Viewer Limit?

How many people are able to connect to a machine until we see a performance issue? Using the HTTP java viewer, or the UltraVNC viewer, do you have any idea what the threshold is for viewers? It is on a P4 3.0 Ghz machine with 1GB ram. I am just trying to get an idea if 10 people will be fine, 40 ...

Re: Java Viewer - Default View only to Yes

So I need to uninstall UltraVNC and install TightVNC on the XP machine, using the instructions for the TightVNC installed on Win 98?

Re: Java Viewer - Default View only to Yes

The first one is for windows 98, and the second one converts the password type, but it doesn't mention about changing the View only to Yes.

Java Viewer - Default View only to Yes

We are using the java viewer to connect via VNC, but would like the default option for viewers to have the View Only set to Yes. It doesn't appear that there is a configuration variable that can be changed to do this by default. Is there anyone I could contact that would be able to re-compile VNC ...

Re: Two types of users?

I appreciate the help 8)

I'm waiting for admin rights for the machine before I can test anything.

If anyone else has any suggestions in the meantime, I'm all ears

Re: Two types of users?

If there was a way to specify access via CORP\ then it should work, but it isn't clear if that is possible...

So this scenario is not possible?
Two viewers with full control:
CORP\userOne
CORP\userTwo

all other viewers will on the following and only have view control:
CORP\

The two users are: CORP\userOne CORP\userTwo and everyone else will be on: CORP\ I have configured MSLogon new to allow userOne ...
