Quick video driver question
I was reading some other post about the Video Hook Driver. My scenario is that I have the VNC viewer install ONLY. The client has Single Click. The connection is encrypted and accessing a machine outside of our companies network. The issue is that it is extremely slower. Now from my understanding ...

Re: Where is my Window for support?
Oops! Found a problem.......if the user is selected non encrypted support your viwer won't load it. Probably because of the "C:\Program Files\UltraVNC\vncviewer.exe" -dsmplugin MSRC4Plugin_NoReg.dsm -listen 5500 Solution? Maybe two shortcuts? one for encryption one for not? I don't know if anyone ...

Re: Where is my Window for support?
Good Idea! :-D I don't even know where to begin. But I will try. Aftert reading post upon post I finally put it all together and here goes. I uninstalled UltraVNC completely and deleted all the other files in the C:\Program Files\UltraVNC. I felt it gave me a fresh start. Here is what I did and ...

Re: Where is my Window for support?
So the plugin is not compatible with Single Click? I was able to get it to work without encryption just fine. The thing is, we are going to use this software to connect to clients of the business. We need something that is going to be totally secure. My boss plans on using our VPN to connect to his ...

Where is my Window for support?
Ok, I started off using Single Click and then was referred to PC Helpware, I thought it was nice, only slow. I went back to single click (preferred my Boss) to try to get this thing to work. I feel I get closer everytime and it's exciting! Except for now. The past couple of hours have been a pain. I ...

Really Slow
I started using PC Helpware over Single Click. It's pretty darn slow. I have two XP machines that I am testing it on and whether I use Direct Connection or VIA Repeater, it's the same speed. Is there a way to speed this thing up.....a lot? I heard there is a mirror driver for Ultra VNC, will it work ...

Re: Using Single Click
mattice06082 - Well its a for a medium size firm. My manager is the one that runs the show so he would be the one to forward any ports and so forth. I think I'm understanding the concept a little. So basically I'm going to forward my port out "tunneling?" Now, how secure is this? There is a setting ...

Right on! Thanks for the links, that helped out. I'm not sure how my manager will go with opening ports, any way around that?

Re: Using Single Click
Thanks for the response! I appreciate it. I downloaded PChelpware and I'm going to read your zero config. Is there any other online help guides I could follow? I noticed when I created a server it created and dumped a text file in server_res folder. Do I just zip it and upload it on the uvnc creator ...

Using Single Click
I'm new to this VNC in fact, I just heard about it yesterday. I'm at a small business and we are looking at ways to support our clients remotely. My manager suggested I look in UltraVNC single click. I have some questions that I still cannot find the answers to. 1.) How does this actually work? Is ...
