according to what I've read working with the repeater makes it work that I don't have to open up any ports except at the repeater end.
Also why should I be able to connect with the viewer but not with the server, that's what I find strange as well...

I've got a question, I couldn't find it on the forum yet.
Could you tell me when using a repeater what the maximum number of digits is for the ID you can use? Is it possible to use for example an idea of 6 digits or even 8 digits?

ok, connecting with the repeater from the zero config works. Now I've tried to connect to a repeater I've put up myself. But this doesn't work. I still get the problem that the viewer can not connect. Server can connect (pc i need to help) without any problems, also in to log it shows no problem ...
