Re: how conect with dyndns?
If you PING myhost.dyndns.org, to what IP address does it resolve? When you PING <your_host_name_here>.dyndns.org it should say PING reply 192.168.1.11. You might have to do a flush of the DNS cache prior to the PING to make sure it resolves the IP to the correct address. To do this in Windows; open ...

Am I encrypted?
Is there a way to test that SSL is actually enabled on the connection? I tried setting up SC III with the DSM plugin with it, but it does not appear to connect when I enable it.

Re: Win 2K Viewer crashing with AESV2 plugin
Just another addition on the problem, when being prompted for the connection password, the viewer will crash with either the correct or incorrect password for the server.

Re: Win 2K Viewer crashing with AESV2 plugin
Still no reply on this? The AESV2 plugin still crashes under Win 2K, key or no key. I can provide diagnostic information if someone will tell me how.

Re: Win 2K Viewer crashing with AESV2 plugin
Restricting the password to 8 characters still causes the viewer to crash. The VNC Viewer Status box comes up and then the error message. It looks like something is happening when the connection handshakes. I went back to the download page http://msrc4plugin.home.comcast.net/aesv2plugin.html and ...

Win 2K Viewer crashing with AESV2 plugin
I have the newest copies of the plugins and UltraVNC. When attempting to use a Win 2K machine to control a Win XP machine, the viewer crashes when it connects to the server. Using either of the other 2 plugins does not exhibit this behavior. The viewer dies at the point where the server would prompt ...
