I searched the available material and it looks like you can not boot to safe mode with networking or auto connect after a system reboot. Is this correct? Help me and others understand DYNALIAS

I am not sure when I need to use the Dynalias option.

I understand from reading version 9 of the step by step and the various FAQ's that it needs to be set to port 5912, but when and why would I need to use this?
