I had the same ploblem with SC and the Plugin. Try this :

No password function in direct connection in PCHW
The viewer is configured for direct connection on port 5900 with a password (ex. "1234") .
In the PCHW CS GUI the password is set to "5678" or "-ask".
The problem is, that any PCHelpware SC-Server can be connected by port 5900 without password control.
