using DSMPlugin and unencrypt javaviewer on same machine??

Post by diz »

Hi,

I have a couple of machines runing UltraVNC_RC18

2xW2k3 Server and 1 WinXP

Is it possible to use the DSMPlugin (encrypted) and still have access to the machines via Java wbe interface (unencrypted) on the same machine (ie. access via the viewer+encryption when on untrust machines/networks and via the javaviewer when on trutsed machines/networks) via either an options/config that I'm not aware of or by running 2 copies of UltraVNC on one machine ??

Thanks
Mat

I would say it would work. The Vnc server and the java viewer use seperate ports so I wouldnt think that they would cause a problem.. Always though if possible use the newest version. Of course it may not let you use them at the same time..:)
