Two router

Post by dadoef »

Hello, I have an external IP that I receive through my adsl modem.
That modem is also routing but has only one port so I have a switch connected to that port. Modem has internal network of 10.0.0.0 and router has 192.168.1.0. How can I use ultravnc, I am totaly clueless, I use the repeater but off course it won't budge. Anyone?

If you are trying to reach your system from the ouside world you can register yourself at DYSDNS which will manage your connection. You can sign up for a dynamic DNS which is monitored by a small piece of software and reported back to the DNS system. This service is free. So when you need to enter a IP for SC or your repeater connection you would enter the DNS you have signed up for.
