access via repeater block on"Negociate Protocol Version ..."

installation :
UltraVNC version : UltraVNC-1.0-Setup_sf.exe

proxy on XP pro with working Wingate 6.0.4 (disabled port security ...)
Subject : direct access on the proxy machine via UltraVNC : Ok via 5900 port or 5800
using repeater to jump on another machine of the local network : didn't work but have worked on first install

configuration
UltraDistributor Settings (Repeater)
5901 Accept
5500 Listen enable
restrict access to server port : 5500

access :
VNC Server : [IP adress of the machine on local network]
Proxy/Repeater : [IP adress of Internet connexion]:5901
the windows VNC viewer and block on Status: Negociate Protocol Version ...

log of the repeater :
socket() initialized
bind() succeded to port 5901
listen() succeded
socket() initialized
bind() succeded to port 5500
listen() succeded
accept() connection
Unable to connect to destination host, errno=10057

the troubling situation is the correct working during about 48h, and after didn't success to connect trough the repeater (maybe after a reboot of the proxy)
precision : VNC work perfectly on local network access or via another session opening on the screen on the proxy

any person have an idea on this problem ?

i've just replace the repeater to the last version (1.1.0.4) and the connection is now possible (problem of version i though)
but now it is the viewer program which freeze (crash of process ultravnc windows) after display only a "photography" of the remote screen
i try on other computer (with ultravnc installed, and some have VNC v4) and they seems to work all
i try again on the freezing machine, and it disconnect after displaying always a "photography" of the screen
i'm perplex !
