Support for folders and import of ".vnc" files in UltraVNC Launcher

Post by mgaugusch »

Hi,
I used to just download the ultravnc viewer, but recently I installed the latest version using installer. This also installed the "UltraVNC Launcher", which looks quite handy, but ...
  • I tried to save a new entry, but actually it didn't work at all
  • I tried to add a new folder to group my servers, but that wasn't possible
  • I would have liked to import existing .vnc files, e.g. via menu entry or using drag & drop
So ... actually it seems that the launcher is still work in progress, isn't it?

I noticed, that I had top copy the UVNC_Launch.exe into a folder that is writable, so it is able to work ...
Copying the ".vnc" files to the "uvnc" subfolder also makes them show up ... so it is a bit better now but still not there :)
