Feature request: A new context menu option "Keyboard"/"Send clipboard contents" in VNC Viewer.
Use case: Copy & Paste from password manager to the Windows login screen.
Details: I remotely manage a few of our customers' Windows servers using VNC (installed as a service). The Windows login screen, however, does not support pasting passwords. I understand why this is the case: The clipboard is only started after a user is logged in.
Thus, my current workflow is as follows:
1. Connect to the server with VNC.
2. Open the password manager and copy&paste the password into an empty notepad window (or use the "show/edit password" feature of the password manager, which I don't like to do because I don't want to accidentally edit the stored password).
3. Manually type the secure (i.e., long and complex) password into the VNC session.
4. Close the notepad window.
The new feature would allow me to skip tedious step 3 and also increase security, since the password never needs to be visible in plain text on my screen:
1. Connect to the server with VNC.
2. Open the password manager and use its "copy password to clipboard" feature.
3. Use the new VNC Viewer feature to paste the password into the Windows login screen.

VNC Viewer: Paste clipboard as key strokes
Re: VNC Viewer: Paste clipboard as key strokes
I just found a workaround and wanted to share it, in case someone has a similar use case:
My password manager (KeePass 2) allows to override the default auto-type configuration for specific groups. Thus, modifying the Auto-Type configuration for the group containing those VNC-Windows-Admin passwords to "{Password}{ENTER}" allows me to use the auto-type feature of my password manager. -> No need to duplicate the feature in the VNC viewer.
Best regards
