No monitor on the other side

Post by cadmus »

Is it possible to support no monitor on the other side?

My phenomenon is as the below.
There are two machines named A and B. A has no monitor connected but B does.
Use POT player to play a movie on A and then no video showing on B.
After connecting a HDMI cable on A, B will have video showing.

Vnc clone the desktop using the videocard, without monitor no videocard active and vnc is black.

The only way i know is to tell your videocard ( if supported) that you have an old monitor connected
and you want to overwrite the detection. This give an extra non existing monitor, but this one stay active even when
nothing is connected or your laptop cover is closed.
