Enable DSMPlugin on UltraVNC Viewer

Post by Steveg »

I am using the DSMPlugin to setup encryption with the SecureVNCPluginARC4.dsm. I was wonder how to remotely set the use DSMPlugin on the ultraVNC viewer. Is there a setting in the ini file or in the registry that would enable UltraVNC viewer to remember the check box beside "Use DSMPlugin"? I need to push this setting out to many PCs to enable the use of DSMPlugin on the viewer. Thanks

The default setting of UltraVNC Viewer is saved at a file named "Options.vnc"

This file is located at:
\\Documents and Settings\User_Name\Application Data\UltraVNC
(or = “%appdata%\ultravnc")

So with proper setting inside this file, the viewer will start with your preferred configuration. In your case, it can be done with:
UseDSMPlugin=1
DSMPlugin=SecureVNCPluginARC4.dsm
