UltraVNC Java Client always connects to port 5900

Post by jagger »

The Java applet client seems to connect always to port 5900. I did not find any parameter for that in options. Is there a way to change it somehow? It looks like the port 5900 is hardcoded (no matter if in the applet conf file or java code).

If there is no way to change it from a running applet, could you add this option?

Best regards,
Jagger

The java viewer use 2 ports
5800 and 5900
5800 is used to get the java applet, 5900 is used to get the rfb data

Any way to make the port for rfb data configurable? I run the UltraVNC server on ports 5801 and 5901. The standard ports 5800 and 5900 are used by another machine. I have two computers behind the NAT (router).

Yes you can,
Ultravnc server property pages
()port main: 5900 (*) Auto
http: 5800

Select (*) Port and set the value manual to 5901 and 5801 :)
