Hi All,
I have just joined a company, who use ultra VNC to connect remotely to client PC's, I believe it is UNVC SC - Client starts an app to connect to a helpdesk.
I have recently re-installed another companies TS Server and placed the support icon on the desktop, but a user clicks it they are prompted for Admin Credentials. I have tried to set up 'run as' options but it doesn’t want to work.
Is there something i am missing, i have read about the UVNC Service, is this the right path??? Has someone already found the answer to this question if so i would be ecstatic to hear it?
Thanks in advance
Regards,
Dan

It could be that the sc version has the option set to disable UAC
for admin. ( check helpdesk.txt)
Then on startup you get the uac box for permissions, but once allowed
no more uac for system apps. Natural, if the desktop user is no admin
this make no sense, app run as user and you set " temp disable uac for admin"...
