Some passwords fail to auth/lock account/crash vncserver

Post by dlom »

we're using vncserver and viewer version 1.0 RC18, mslogon enabled. some domain accounts fail to authenticate and then the domain account is locked (after only 1 attempt). also, some passwords cause vncserver to crash.

viewers mostly running on win2000 or xp, servers running on win2000 and win2003.

any suggestions? other than changing the problem causing passwords?

thanks.

Is this mslogon I or II (the "old" or "new" mslogon)?
There were some issues with passwords in both mslogon I and II.
Most of them should be fixed in newer versions (RC20x).
See the mslogon II "History" section in http://doc.uvnc.com/features/authentication.html

Could you please test if you still have issues with a current RC.
