Cannot save password in viewer's .phw file

I have used PCHelpWare for a few years, very successfully (thank you).
But a while ago the password disappeared from the .phw viewer file that I use and I must manually type the password into the viewer screen every time I use the viewer to connect with a client.

Clicking the SAVE button does not save the password.

I have tried creating a new .phw file, but it too will not retain the password.

I am used to having the password there and sometimes forget to enter the password when I start the viewer - which is a minor annoyance.

What can I do to have the .phw file retain the password as it did in the past?

Hi,

Same problem here!
Under Windows XP my password is saved.
Under Windows 7 my password IS NOT saved.

Very annoying and I hope there is a solution for this problem under Windows 7.

It's a pitty that the password can't be saved in Windows 7 . Except of this it's still working fine !
