AD AUTH feature/bug? Not sure

Post by stry »

When you install ultravnc a window comes up asking you to enter a password or else the service wont start up. This is great coz it makes sure there is a password there blah blah blah. I do not really want to enter a password there, I want to use MS Logon for that instead. I have to enter a password there even though I am not going to use it. Would it be possilbe to select MS Logon and then disable that box. I rather disable that box completely and ONLY use MS Logon. It is a small issue but it is a bit ambigous right now the way it is setup.

THe next thing I would like would be under the MS Logon is I would like a button that would let me browse the domain for users and groups. Just like in any other software that lets you use AD for authentication, I would like to browse and enter the groups in there instead of just typing it in.

Finally is there anyway way I can hide the systray icon? I rather not have users see it and play around with it. The less things they see the better.

Thanks! So far it is fun to play with.
