Hi,
I created my own SC Tool with the guide from the forums here but I can't get it to work outside of my network. First I put my local IP in the helpdesk file and testet it over LAN. That worked nicely. Then I registered a dyndns and configured it on my Vigor 2800. I forwarded the port 5500 on the router and put the following line in my helpdesk file:
"-connect xxx.dyndns.org:5500 -noregistry"
which neither worked on LAN nor over the internet. To see if it is a dyndns problem I changed the dyndns to my internet IP and tested it that way, but still there was no connection comming through to my listening viewer here.
Any suggestions what could be the problem?

Problem with UVNC SC Tool
Re: Problem with UVNC SC Tool
Try another port. Some ISP's block 5500 and 5900
Re: Problem with UVNC SC Tool
before change the port, check with ms portquery if port is'nt blocked by third software.
open NAT is many time not enough for some routers.
some router include firewall need open two more things for allow incoming and outgoing connection
you also need open port to software windows firewall if not disabled or another existing on your computer.
you
vncviewer -listen must be running before start msquery.
otherwise, still close.
