SC can only connect with correct Session ID

Post by Java-Jim »

HI,

i think it would be nice to have the feature, that the SC Client needs to enter an ID Code to be able to connect to the viewer.

On the viewerside it is annoying the get unannounced SC Incomming Connection requests.

Better way to solv this problem is like netviewer etc... that the client rings on the phone, request a support session und gets an ID Code generated by the vncviewer. Then he connects with SC and has to type in the code. This code is being transmitted to the viewer and is checked, if its previously generated. If not nothing happens on the viewerside.
The ID must have an period of validity, if the connection is being dropped or a restart of the computer has occured.
This ID could be stored to have a handle to a support session.

What do you think about it?
