Direct connect with NAT on both ends?

Post by pmoon »

I am trying to upgrade our in house support tools to PcHelpWare. I have multiple support technicians, and I would like each technician to be able to run a viewer locally on their machines. I am distributing a server I generated using PcHelpWare_SC_GUI which will have multiple connection options assigned to different ports which will correspond to the viewer set up on each technician's system.

If I use a local IP everything works.

I have set up NAT on the ports I am using to redirect traffic to the proper IP's, but when I try to connect from the pchelpware_server, nothing happens.

If I turn off the NAT and run the viewer on the public IP machine, then it works.

Is it possible to make this work with direct connect through NAT on both ends without using the repeater?
