How to distribute? [SOLVED]

Post by elite »

Firstly - great bit of software - thanks :D

Now, I could of missed something, infact I'm sure I have - but what is the best way to distribute the server?

What I want to have is for the person I am helping to go to my website, download a file (click ok to any security alerts etc) and for the server to run

I've got my head around the -direct flag etc, but was wondering what is the recommended way of packaging the files generated by "Create Server" to ease the installation.

The obvious method is a self extracting zip, but this would require the end user to unzip then execute the server .exe

Any pointers would be greatly appreciated

Edit: So I reread the step by step and see that two files are generated. PcHelpWare_server.exe (which I missed  ) is the self extracting one!

I'm officially an idiot!
