Hello,

First off, I really enjoy using the Chunk Wrapper, I have found it very helpful.

I have made modifications to it, for example: when it's installed as a service it will add the reg key and allow to boot into safe mode with networking and continue working on it, and it will remove the key once you uninstall instant support, as well as a reg key that allows you to use ctrl alt del, at a login screen with out the use of virtual keyboard.

My question is how can we go about bypassing the 8 character password limit? I have modified the complier to accept 20 characters, but Uvnc still caps out at 8.

I've read at http://adamwalling.com/SecureVNC/ that you can bypass it if using the securevncplugin, (which as you know chunk uses.)

Sounds like you should update to a newer version of ChunkVNC.

Changes in v3.3:
Updated Compiler to use SecureVNC for hashing a password from 9 to 128 characters in length.

Actually I have been using the Chunk ver 4.0 that is in your FTP.. I was wanting to play it for Mac Support... and never got anywhere with it.. but just continued using it for everything else

Yea, that version is very outdated compared to the newest 3.x releases.
