Keyboard mapping messed up.

Post by JustMe23 »

I unstalled 1.0.9.6.1 Viewer on my Win7 64 system. I can connect to a TightVNC server
running on Ubuntu Jaunty. The keyboard is completely messed up. The mouse works
correctly. The key mapping is completely wrong. If I type "1234" into a terminal window
on Ubuntu I get "90-=". If I type "asdfgh" I get "abfhjk". Asside from this both computers
work properly. What could be wrong?

Thanks,
Pete.

While experimenting, I installed TightVNC and it shows exactly the same problem. It seems that the
problem must be on the server side.

Thanks,
Pete.
