Rotating the screen display
Hi,
Does the UltraVNC viewer support rotating the screen?
I'd like to rotate the remote screen I'm viewing either clockwise or counterclockwise - I'm looking at a mobile screen.
I've seen at least one utility written in C# that allowed you to do this (was called ORIENTATION property). But I don't see it in the viewer anywhere. It's akin to looking at PORTRAIT or LANDSCAPE mode
Would really like to be able to pass it in as a command-line parameter when I run it if it's possible
Thanks for any assistance!
Tim

Re: Rotating the screen display
with ssvnc you should rotate the screen if remote server is vnc compatible with RandR like x11vnc

Re: Rotating the screen display
Not possible...
I just wonder what the usage.
If you rotate a screen, you also rotate the content. Content viewer and real screen use a different angle.

Re: Rotating the screen display
imagine remote is a tablet with uvnc server full and turned 90° right clock (portrait mode)
then at your local vncviewer is 0° clock (landscape mode default )
viewer need to adapt remote screen to local screen ?
or
is automatic from OS and vnc server sent to viewer ?

Re: Rotating the screen display
remote portait
send 90° rotated to portable (landscape)
Physical rotate portable 90°
For viewing this is ok, but having a vertical keyboard isn't easy to work on.
Sending a 90° rotated screen makes the PC OS and viewer 90°
vert mouse move on OS = horizontal remote..
