client only connects on lan

Post by kal10bach »

hi, at first: it works!
but the client only connects over the lan-ip.

tested:
- no ip-adress in lan -> compiling -> clientwindow only shows the port
- pc with client over 3g-connection (no connection to the lan with the repeater, host is in the same lan as the repeater) -> compiling -> no connection, client still only shows the aimed lan-adress
- firewalls off
- ports forwarded

any idea?
thanx

I a bit confused let's start with the basics...

It sounds like you have a repeater running in you local LAN.

You compiled with your WAN and LAN IP addresses correctly in the compiler?

Do you see ChunkViewer connect to the repeater? You should see this in the log of the Repeater window, test with ID 123456.
