Multi-Monitor - One Monitor per Client (multiple servers)?

Post by ghost_zero »

Hi,

I thought about connecting two clients to one PC and display one monitor per client. However, without multiple servers this won't work because the output would be the same for both clients otherwise.
Is it possible to somehow set up multiple servers on one PC?

I tried this today but though I used different ports for both of them, I was not able to run both of them at the same time (though they were also in different directories). If I did so the always "killed" each other and restartet afterwards. I tried to use the mirror driver only with one server because I thought this might be an issue.

Is there some possibility to get this to work?
If not, is there another possbility to get different monitors for the client windows (I thought that this might be somehow possible using repeater but I am not really sure how)?
