Cant get connection to work after editing helpdesk.txt

I had to add an additional HOST to my helpdesk.txt file. After re-compiling using the online creator, I can no longer connect. How can this be when I have been successfully running for about a year now.

1. Are you using any encryption plugin?
2. Which online creator have you used? (RC23 or Rel-1 or Update-2009)

We have been using MSRC4Plugin.dsm and rc4

And I've been using RC23 to compile

And I've been using RC23 to compile

The RC23 creator will crafted the .exe file with MSRC4Plugin.dsm Ver.1.1.6
Check if your listening viewer is using the same dsmplugin.

Which version of vncviewer you are using?

When you tried the non-encrypted connection, are you sure the listening viewer is operated under non-encrypted mode?
In some case, a listening viewer may enable encryption automatically even if you not asking it to do so.

The version of MSRC4Plugin.dsm thats in my ULTRAVNC folder is 1.2.2. The version of VNC Viewer I'm using is 1.0.5.

I followed the instructions on the link you gave with no success either.

When you resubmitted the .ZIP file to the online creator, have you included the MSRC4Plugin.dsm (ver. 1.2.2) in the .ZIP?

If you hadn't done so, the RC23 online creator will craft the .EXE file with a MSRC4Plugin.dsm (ver. 1.1.6), which is not compatible with 1.2.2 that you are using.

This is not necessary an issue of your situation. Just want to let you know the possibility of the auto-on of encryption of the listening viewer, and the way to check this.
