customizable service name and registry keys

Post by luh »

would be nice if the service name and the related registry keys, including the password locations, could be customizable.

too many times I find uvnc preinstalled so i cannot use it for remote assistance; setting custom name and locations could help to have multiple and indipendent uvnc installations

by the way, another solution could be the support for multiple passwords allowing every remote user to access with their one only

as i can see the author of the software you linked never did a source modification, just wrote a new piece of software ...

however i did the trick using realvnc, now i'm investigating if i can apply the same trick to uvnc but i guess not

any help in source modification is welcome, i could manage it on linux platforms but the windows side is too hard for me ...
