MSLogonACL from loginscript

Post by kooijt »

Hi all,

We are trying to implement UltraVNC into different AD's. The problem we are experiencing is that the user has to be local admin to run MSLogonACL. As you can imagen, most users (all ) aren't. Is there a way from loginscript (kix) to work around this?

TIA,

Theodoor van der Kooij.

MSLogonACL has to write to HKLM\Software\UltraVNC.
This normally requires admin rights...
Adding UltraVNC as a service also requires admin rights.
That's windows.

U can update ACL using system account. To do this put your script in GPO - the computer configuration part of GPO. 8-)
