You are using the font "MS Sans Serif" in almost every of your UltraVNC server and UltraVNC client windows/dialog boxes.
The big drawback of this font: it's a bitmap font, which cannot be enhanced by Windows XP's ClearType feature, thus giving a pixeled look on modern flatscreens, when ClearType is enabled.
Please consider using the Microsoft default font "MS Shell Dlg" instead. This automatically resolves to "Tahoma" on modern Windows systems or "MS Sans Serif" on old Windows systems. This preserves compatibility while giving a nice and smooth look on modern cleartyped flatscreen systems.

Re: Change UltraVNC font to "MS Shell Dlg"
Seems like the suggestion didn't make it into the 1.0.2 release?
The font issue in combination with the password field display problems still persists

Re: Change UltraVNC font to "MS Shell Dlg"
That's right. As I explained in my first post:redge wrote:I'm not able to see this font to my list of XP pro sp2 fonts XP ?MS Shell Dlg
So this is just a virtual font name, used by developers.X-Byte wrote:This automatically resolves to "Tahoma" on modern Windows systems or "MS Sans Serif" on old Windows systems.
