#1 I tired to add my own icons with version 0.0.1.5 and when it compiled an exe the icon for the program was a white backgound with a globe and a man in a white shirt in front of the globe. Why?
This is the icon for the "SC.exe" file that depends on the 7sZ.sfx that compresses the exe with 7zip, there is now way to choose this icon.
But u can use "Reshack" an executable ressource editor, an change the icon of the 7sZ.sfx file, if u want i can compile my program especially for u with ur choosen icon.
The only icons u can change with my program are that ones displayed while connecting and being connected in systray.
#2 How can you compile WITHOUT using and id number when
Checked the Direct checkbox.
Checked the debug check box
Blanked out the id number.
I have to recheck the dependecies of the Options i made, maybe there are mistakes of option that may work i block.
Added my own "Inscription" (By the way you need to come up with a better term for that)
Put in my dyndns hostname.
Put in my website
Changed some of the bubble text.
There also maybe a bug, can u pls report exactly what changed wrong when u changed what option ?
And compiled I got this:
A Dialog Box
Title: WinVNC with the text
"Usage-id connect vrconstructionhelp.org -noregistry" and an OK button
A Dos/CMD Boxwith the text
:fh is 4

C:\c++\Z_SC\winvnc\winvnc\winvnc.cpp : sockets initialised
--The operation completed successfully.
Please send me the hole project and all the files exactly as u tried so i can look for the failure.
Is the the correct.? I do not need to use a repeater YET so I just make a direct connection and do use id numbers. I thought id numbers were only if yoiu needed to use a repeater?
Oh yes, i don't was thinking about usage without a repeater, i'll fix that issue.
#3 I notice when I compile that the following folders are created.
bin, tmp, exe, upd Then they go away after you close the program. I suppose that is normal?
Yes i'd like to save ur HDD Space

als the files are temporarily created will be deleted after exiting the program, there be restored if u compile again, that are ressources in the executable.
#4 There is no way that the program can tell you that it has finished the compile. Unless you look at the folder where it is and see the exe had been created. You need to give some indication that the program has finished the compile.
Right now i don't know how to start the batch file and getting response its beeing finished, i'll look for that for later releases.
#5 There needs to be some way of saving your setting so that the program loads them when you start again. And a way of choosing saved settings.
OK there are a few to work on

Try to use Release 0.0.1.7, if u exit the program a ini file called settings.ini will be created with all the settings about the program.
If u restart the program it will look for an existing settings.ini and will restore your previously made config.
