mulitple monitor question

Post by bluewookie »

Hi all.

I'm just getting the hang of this UltraVNC setup, but I had a question about running multiple monitors on the server.

I'm currently running WinXp Pro SP2, with UltraVNC 1.0.0, and I have the mirror driver installed.

My secondary monitor is setup on the left, in a portait orientation, and my primary monitor is set up on the right, in a landscape orientation.

The issue I'm having is that when I log in remotely uisng the UltraVNC viewer 1.0.1, it starts out trying to display both monitors at the same time. What I'd like to be able to do is start out only displaying the primary monitor (when first connecting) and then be able to toggle to the secondary monitor using the "full desktop" button.

Also, if at all possible, I'd like to avoid allowing the viewer to ever display both monitors at the same time.

Thanks in advance for any help.
Jim
