Check if remote connection is active

Post by casiosmu »

Hello,

is there any api or command line to check at the server side, if currently there is one or more remote support session established?
I need to monitor this from an other program.

Thank you.

You can use the netstat command for that.
Open a command prompt (start > cmd > enter)
Type in

Code: Select all

netstat -an | findstr :5900
You see a listening process (LISTEN) and zero, one or more ESTABLISHED lines for each open connection.
(assuming you have the server listening on port 5900.

If you only want the established connection you can do

Code: Select all

netstat -an | findstr :5900 | findstr ESTABLISHED
