Hello,
I am able to connect successfully when both server and viewer are connected to the same network.
But when server and viewer are connected to different networks, I get a message "Failed to connect to server !" in the VncViewer Message Box while connecting.
I tried to use the public IP address instead of the IP address shown while hovering the mouse over the UltraVNC server icon in the system tray. But still I get the same error message.
Do I have to change any settings when server and viewer are connected to different networks?
Thank you.

Re: How to connect to remote PC which is on different network?
When both server and viewer are on a private network ( behind a router) there is no direct communication possible.
1) When you have access to one router
-Port forwding: You tell your router that he need to forward port 5900 to your PC
The viewer the connect to the ip_router:5900 and the router forward this to the PC
If the router is on the viewer site, you tell the server to connect to the viewer.
2) You need to use a repeater
The repeater need to be on a public accessible server
Server and viewer connect to the repeater, he route the traffic

Is it safe to say if you can ping the other computer, you should be able to reach it with VNC?
