Saving Configuration Files

Post by Pcagle719 »

We are using Ultravnc version 1 3.4.2 and have the configuration setup to use MS Logon for Windows Authentication. We set this up and it works great. Only issue is when we update the version, it will not keep that configuration and we have to go in and reset those settings. Is there a way to save those settings so that we don't have to do that?

Thank you

Normal the settings should not be touched.
ultravnc.ini has Flags: onlyifdoesntexist, is never touched when updating.
Please check if you see a differnce in ultravnc.ini after update.

The uninstaller is unaware of the acl settings, so he can theoretical not touch them.

Using mslogonacl you can dump the settings before and after update

Are the settings changed on update ?
