Can't log into my laptop from desktop

Hi there,

So my geek friend recommend this software a couple of years ago & it worked fine & now all of a sudden no matter what I do, it won't log me in.

At first the view p/w worked, but when I tried the access p/w it wouldn't log me in.

I keep getting authentication denied or rejected & then ...
