would using the mirage driver http://mirage-driver.sourceforge.net./ keep the wallpaper from disapearing and keep the screen from blinking on the remote host when connected?
also, my other request is still to remove the tray icon.

the only way I've been able to prevent this is by changing the viewer to 'full color mode' although for some reason, the viewer doesn't seem to save my defaults... so I usually end up destroying wallpaper anyways

what would be the point of downloading the client app if that is what is doing the downloading.... maybe you need a program that will simply download the client app then let it download the config?

is there a way to disable the tray icon? also, could you add the tabbed ultra vnc listener? So that multiple computers can be controlled in one window. I like to use this to control some of my servers that have lots of removed services, thanks, I appreciate the work alot!

icons aren't working?
I've compile sc online with both compilers and custom icons. However, the exe always has the regular uvnc icon and the tray icon is the same! I open the file with 7-zip and my custom icons are inside! Why are my custom icons not showing?
