thanks again for your reply. its working ok but what i dont understand is why this is a better setup in relation to firewalls then the 'normal 'SC with a connection directly to the viewer as i understand when using a repeater both the viewer and server are doing outbound traffic and the repeater ...

i have exactly the same problem. SC is working fine for most of my customers but for some corparate accounts it doesnt connect. I changed it to the 443 port, but was unable to connect also.
