Re: File Transfer with 1.0.9.6 server not possible

I also had some different versions where it worked.

However, 1.0.9.6.1 seems to have some other bugs. Since I updated UVNC on the server, I wasn't even able to connect with the latest viewer. All I get is a grey screen. On some computers it works on some computers it doesn't. Strange is that other ...

File Transfer with 1.0.9.6 server not possible

So, I read that viewers are downward-compatible. Unfortunately 1.0.9.6.1 does not want to do file transfers with a 1.0.9.6-Server!
Just wanted to mention that. When I changed my viewer back to 1.0.9.6 it worked fine again.

Re: "connected VNC server doesn't support UltraVNC file tran

Not really always.... I had 1.0.9.6 as server and 1.0.9.6.1 as viewer and file transfer was not possible. When I changed to the older viewer (1.0.9.6) it worked fine! Maybe a bug in 1.0.9.6.1?

Re: Problem: Windows 7 and entering Administrator password

But thats useless then.

Sure I install VNC as administrator but I will assist an user when he has problems with his computer so that he just has to start UVNC and I can connect and install things for example.

So this is a problem. Isn't there any chance to give the user rights to start this service?

Re: Problem: Windows 7 and entering Administrator password

But is a "normal" user allowed to start it then or just the administrator?

Problem: Windows 7 and entering Administrator password

I have a Problem: When UltraVNC is started in Windows 7 and I do something where Windows will ask me for the Administrator password then VNC crashes.

It works when Uvnc is installed as service but as far as I understand then it's running everytime the computer starts.

Is it possible to have it ...

Re: UltraVNC SC manual SC EXE client (Client enters IP,PORT,

Hi all just finished a manual SC EXE client.
remote.exe

This remote control did a great job! Very useful if someone is behind a router, etc. And very easy to use.

Unfortunately today I had the first computer to remote control with ...
