That worked! I was renaming the files keeping only the "foo_" part as a match.

As soon as I used the original filename, the server started to reject any other client.

I'm talking about direct, client-initiated connection.

In this scenario, how can I configure the server to refuse the connection if the client doesn't provide the pre-shared key (instead of generate a new one on the fly)?

The devlopers are leaving that out on purpose.

I do believe if you check out the vnc related products section. There are a few modified Single clicks that may do what you are wanting to do..:)
Yeah, I know, but most of the product I've seen are not open source and ...

In addition you get the ability to reboot the computer and have the client automatically reconnect. This feature is the one I think is worth the $85 to anyone trying to really do remote support - you can't live without this feature if you are trying to use this tool as a support professional ...

But please note that this tricks doesn't work with all the winvnc.exe (the official winvnc viewer form UltraVNC doens't work, for example): you've got to use the winvnc.exe packed with SC: just open the mySc.exe file you recive from the creator with WinZip/7Zip/WinRar ...
