Remore desktop shows for a moment, then closes, No messages

Built an SC application and tried it on on the LAN here: works fine. Port 5500 is forwarded on the router. Sent it to another party to test remotly over the Internet (ADSL at both ends). When the other party starts the application up, it connects, I see their desktop for a moment, then it just shuts ...
