Re: Wishlist

As there's no official sticky wishlist thread for PHW I just add my wishes to this one, maybe getting it sticky some day? ;-)

The devs could (should?) add their comments to these wishes and maybe make some kind of statement, if and when such a feature may be added.

A little cleanup from a ...

Re: Why is c:\temp_phw hardcoded?

@Rudi De Vos:
Is there no possibility to work with the default Windows TEMP environment variable on the server and viewer side?

So a "fixed" path of %TEMP%\PHW_$sessionid would resolve to C:\Documents and Settings\UserA\Local Settings\Temp\PHW_56584 on PC A and C:\Dokumente und Einstellungen ...

Re: Problems using proxy

The only way to use Basic Authentication in that case is, to use a local proxy that is able to authenticate to the ISA Server using NTLM.

Re: Change UltraVNC font to "MS Shell Dlg"

MS Shell Dlg
I'm not able to see this font to my list of XP pro sp2 fonts XP ?

That's right. As I explained in my first post:
This automatically resolves to "Tahoma" on modern Windows systems or "MS Sans Serif" on old Windows systems.

So this is just a virtual font name, used by developers.

Re: Change UltraVNC font to "MS Shell Dlg"

Seems like the suggestion didn't make it into the 1.0.2 release?
The font issue in combination with the password field display problems still persists :(

Great that this suggestion will also coincidentally fix the password field issue :D

Shouldn't be too hard to fix, a simple search&replace over the whole project's sourcecode should do the job

Change UltraVNC font to "MS Shell Dlg"

You are using the font " MS Sans Serif " in almost every of your UltraVNC server and UltraVNC client windows/dialog boxes.

The big drawback of this font: it's a bitmap font, which cannot be enhanced by Windows XP's ClearType feature, thus giving a pixeled look on modern flatscreens, when ClearType ...
