There are many situation that the client does not notice the accidental disconnection of the server. The result is the client would not attempt to reconnect the server ...

sorry for the long absence I had some problems with my stupid via mb drivers that were continuosly disabling udma making my computer so slow it was impossible to develop on it. i am looking for the same thing: a way to do what maxivista does, and send the screen to a viewer on mac osx without running virtual pc, so through vnc is best. i use synergy now to share the km, i'd like a viewing window where i can drag things from my pc screen.

I think it is a very attractive feature to have a dummy display driver to fake windows xp to be run in multi-monitor mode. Many users have imagined using such feature to use multiple clients to simulate a multimonitor system remote session on a single monitor PC.

Have anyone heard Maxivista before ...
