Solved. Indeed, it was my fault. I launched vncviewer from the desktop, and the field From: was empty. When inserting vncviewer path, all has gone ok.

Also make sure that the plugin and the rc4.key file are in the main uvnc folder instead of the plugin directory..example

I use vncserver and vncviewer version 1.01 both on win 98 pc. I have configured the DSM plugin no registry version (MSRC4Plugin_NoReg.dsm) following the instructions.
