Re: Any way to always load "Full Dektop" view?

Rudi!

You are awesome! That fixed it!! Not sure where the typo in the .ini came from, but adding "secondary=1" fixed it!

Thank you so much for your help!

Re: Any way to always load "Full Dektop" view?

I'll try that. For some reason, the default ini says "secundary" instead of "secondary". Could that be the issue? I don't ever remember typing that, so perhaps it's a typo in the default install?

Thank you so much for your replies - greatly appreciated!

Re: Any way to always load "Full Dektop" view?

Hi Rudi, I think you misunderstood what I was asking. I don't need to use fullscreen mode, but rather "full desktop" mode (i.e. where both monitors are displayed in one window). I'd like to do this by default every time I connect to a user's computer. Here is a screenshot of what I'm looking for ...

Monitor blanking issue - custom BG image shows on BOTH!

Hello, I have v1.0.8.2 server running on 64-bit Windows 7 box. I'm using the latest viewer on my Win XP 32-bit box. When I first "blanked" the clients monitor, I noticed the big ugly eye on his screen (which worked properly, at least). I thought it would be better to use a custom image that says ...

Any way to always load "Full Dektop" view?

Hello, I have a lot of saved connections on my computer. Most of our users have dual monitors. Is there any way to make it so that when I open a user's connection (.vnc), it automatically loads the "full desktop" view so I can easily see both screens while helping them? Right now, I have each ...

Re: The color scheme has been changed to Windows 7 Basic

OK, so is using a "mirror driver" the only way to get dual-monitor support?

Thanks for your help!

Re: The color scheme has been changed to Windows 7 Basic

Rudi, thanks for your reply. Is there any way to get dual-monitor support without triggering basic color mode?

Re: The color scheme has been changed to Windows 7 Basic

Actually, this seems to happen on every Win7 box here. Is the current mirror driver just not approved for Win7 64-bit?

Bueller?!?

Re: The color scheme has been changed to Windows 7 Basic

I edited the user's .ini file to reflect: EnableDriver=0

That seemed to fix the error, however, I'm assuming now it's not using the mirror driver? This effectively prevents me from accessing multiple monitors, correct?

Any ideas on how I can resolve this?

Re: The color scheme has been changed to Windows 7 Basic

Also, the user reports that the display flashes on/off before that notification pops up. Video driver issue?

The color scheme has been changed to Windows 7 Basic

Hello, I just installed UltraVNC 1.0.8.2 on several Win7 64-bit boxes and it runs fine, but whenever I connect to the user's computer, they see a notification that says: "The color scheme has been changed to Windows 7 Basic". How can I prevent this from popping up as it's getting really annoying?
