Re: File Transfer problem with W2K8 R2 and v1.2.1.2 64 bit
The failure has been in one of two ways. One way is when the File Transfer window just closes. The VNCViewer window will not respond in any way. Most of the time I can't get it to minimize or close. If it minimized, it immediately reports "VNCViewer is not responding". I usually get this message ...

Re: 1.2.1.3 ZIP
Had a look at v1.2.1.5 and I still can reproduce viewer crashes - or now more often: viewer hangs (app hangs and does not repsond anymore). It looks like the viewer doesn't eat the cpu anymore (25-50% cpu usage on disconnect) but now there's something else strange going on... Rudi did you change ...

Re: Filetransfer stuck and freeze
This are 2 different things, but as file transfer is client/server also related.
I understand the fix you put in the client to increase the amount of KB processed while adhering to 1000 packets/second limitation is a separate issue.
It seems even with that change Prisma/OP is still seeing stalled ...

But on connections having hangs the new viewer shows no difference.
Tested with connection speed of viewer cable 150mbit down/10mbit up and server side adsl 50mbit down/10mbit up.
Transfer mostly hangs. This results in an average speed of 350 kb/s which is far away from physical possibility. http ...

Does anyone know why the cursor is a bit jumpy when Track cursor locally is enabled.
What I'm seeing doesn't seem to be related to queued mouse movements as it will often happen when the mouse pointer is just sitting there. It seems to happen more when I hover over (mouse over) objects.

Is it during login or later on? Are server and client same version? etc.
I could try to reproduce also if there are more details.

RC23 is actually 1.0.9.0 RC2.3 which led to 1.0.9.1
There might be some ctl-alt-del stuff for win7 still evolving on the RC2.3 thread.

Re: vncviewer.exe crashes on first few connects, then it wor
Tried with server running mirror driver and crash doesn't happen (in the viewer), but as usual with a race condition, the change might have nothing to do with the actual cause, just might be changing the timing of events to avoid the issue.
