I'm experiencing the same problem with 1.0.8.2 and the flashing taskbar on Vista. Running in single display mode (1920x1200).

Occurs when the UVNC services is running, doesn't matter if a client is connected or not.

I tried enabling and disabling all the options in preferences, same result.
