I did wonder whether the Java Viewer was an alternative to a locally installed client.
I imagine there are advantages to the Win32 Viewer otherwise everyone would use the Java Viewer but I don't know what those advantages are.
Can anyone explain why I would not be happy switching to the Java Viewer ...

Google Chrome OS
We run a call center and are exploring using Google Chrome OS for our Agent workstations.
Currently we use UltraVNC to record the Agents screens.
Can the UltraVNC client be made to run on Google OS (i.e. Chromium)?

We tried your recommendations (except for using tightvnc) with no luck.
Is it possible to launch the regular viewer (i.e. not the javaviewer) from a browser?
These are PCs in a call center so we have total control over the PCs and what software we have installed.

We upgraded a group of Agents to 1.0.8.2 and kept track of their error rate and saw no improvement.
60% of the attempts to view a session resulted in one or more of the following errors:
Incorrect tight pallett size: 3
